Corn Chowder


Packet of Bacon
250 ml Rich Milk (Canned)
1 Tin Sweet-corn
1 Tin Corn (Optional)
1 Onion

Salt & Pepper to taste
4 Potatoes
6 Cream Crackers
750 ml Boiled water
Paprika to taste

Soak broken Cream crackers in milk
Chop bacon and fry preferably in cast iron pot and drain.

Chop onion and fry in bacon drippings.
Peel and cut potato into cubes and fry in bacon fat.
Add bacon, corn and water to pot and cook for 20 minutes, until potatoes are cooked.
Add cream crackers and milk when the potatoes are soft.
Add salt & Pepper to taste. Heat 5 – 10 minutes.
Ladle in soup bowls and sprinkle with Paprika
