Watter pragtige herinneringe is hierin saamgevat. Mense skryf mos nie meer briewe of stuur poskaarte nie. My gunsteling is die een van die boere besig om te dors op die plaas in Tulbagh – dis ‘n kosbare voorbeeld van ‘n lewenstyl wat grotendeels verdwyn het.

Ek is bly jy het daardie een spesifiek opgelet.
Ouma het vir my ‘n box kaartjies gegee, toe ek nog ‘n kind was, gelukkig was dit nie die waarevolles nie, want ek het die prentjies uitgesny en my bloemlesings daar mee versier!!!
