Seaside Trip

Seaside 1This is page one of a two page traditional scrapbook-layout which I created in May 2013. The 12″ x 12″ layout was taken by me with a Nikon D70 camera ©

seaside 2This is page two, I staged the layout with two old Photograph albums that I got at a Thrift-store, which you can see here.

This is a close up of the title, fibers and rubber-stamped starfish, made with foam rubber-stamps. Nikon D70 camera ©

This is a close up of the seahorse wine glass charm. Nikon D70 camera © I used the same charm in my Puerto Vallarta layout.

This is a close up of the suitcase I made from Stampin’ Up! Briefcase On Board Book, which I covered with card-stock and copies of South African postage stamps. A paperclip curl keeps the journaling, Faux postcard, etc. secured. Nikon D70 camera ©

This is a close up of the fibers I used. Alphabet stickers are unknown. Nikon D70 camera ©

This is a close up of the rubber-stamped background I made from card-stock.. Nikon D70 camera © Some of the wood mounted rubber-stamps I used were: “Text” by Inkadinkado, “Time Flies” by Inkadinkado, “Musical score” from Recollections®, “Memo”, “Dates”, “Important”, “Posted”, “Issue No:”, “Original”, etc.  from Stampin’ Up!, “Ask for bill” by A.S.C Calgary. The watch is from Center Enterprises Inc. Hartford, Connecticut.

  1. Your ingenuity knows no bounds! Absolute works of art, as always.
I love that old Durban photo. If only it could return to those days …
I recently designed some similar post cards with our sea view for a visitor from UK. I laminated the picture side, which seemed to work quite well.
