We dry camped for three days at Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park in Parksville on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada during our vacation.
“Majestic old growth trees, beautiful ocean sunsets and an inviting, wide sandy beach with campsites nestled amongst mature Douglas fir trees makes Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park in Parksville one of the premier vacation destinations on Vancouver Island.” – B.C Parks
The campgrounds are beautiful, clean, private and quite. The staff are friendly and helpful. The ablutions were very clean, the hot showers are great, but they work on a timer, so that you have to keep pushing a button. This is a very popular campground so make sure that you book ahead in season and over weekends.
Camp Food Bread, cheese and Balsamic Reduction from Coombs Country Market with Olive oil. If you look carefully you can see the table is wet We usually eat on place-mats, but we removed them for this photo to show the lovely table. ©
