Newfoundland

We recently flew to St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada for a few days to visit our son, daughter in law and grandsons. We lived in Portugal Cove, near St. Johns for two years and visited St. Johns in 2007 for our son’s wedding. Here are some of our old photos, with some new ones coming soon.

    • I’m glad you liked them.
Unfortunately we had lost of rain, which is unusual for this time of year, but fortunately we spent time with our family.

  1. I have yet to take an extended trip out there. My heart’s in it…I “friended” the Face Book Page for Newfoundland and am delighted with the photography as well as the wonderful Newfoundlander humour on the comments. I once posted on the site that studies found Newfoundlanders to be the sexiest Canadians – having sex more frequently than their countryfolk. Their response? “We have to do sumpin’ when the fishin’ is done and nobody’s fiddlin’?”

    • We were fortunate that we had sunny weather in the summers when we lived there, but even fog and rain makes for different photos.
      Oh! I love it !
