This area is west of Bragg Creek in the Elbow Valley of Kananaskis Country. The McLean Creek area provides opportunity for riders to ride just about anywhere they might like. This 77.22-square mile area was set aside for motorcycles and four-by-fours. It provides a unique network of trails and lots of mountain bike action as well. it is best to ride the trails on weekdays if possible; they are much busier with motorized users on weekends. Some of the trails access some wonderful high country, and most of the major trails are in generally good condition, with wide tracks and solid gravel. Mud, though, is a way of life in this area, so avoid it if you’re shy when it comes to getting a little dirty.” –

  1. I see I managed to place a comment meant for this post on the May Roundup one instead!

After second thoughts, forget mountain bikes – I’d prefer a horse, there!

I would ❤️ to hear from you.
