I wish I knew where we came from as a Truter family. All I know is that my grandfather Pieter Jonk Truter moved from the Cape to JHB but didn’t keep touch with his side of the family because of bad blood. I know he grew up on a farm and that his father, my great grandfather was a mean cruel man
